For a Human Ecology - New Direction Review Publication Launch

New Direction is pleased to invite you to the launch of the latest edition of the New Direction Review – For a Human Ecology: An Alternative Way to Defend Nature on 10 November. This edition of the New Direction Review focuses on stewardship of the natural world, and what conservatives can do to protect the environment.

This edition explores how conservatives can approach environmental protection through the principles of stewardship, responsibility, and the preservation of our natural heritage. Challenging the assumption that environmentalism must be the preserve of the political left, it considers how a conservative understanding of humanity’s relationship with nature can offer an alternative vision for protecting the environment while safeguarding human flourishing, economic prosperity, and the interests of future generations.

Join us for a panel discussion examining where conservatives should stand on the questions of the environment, climate, and energy. Bringing together different perspectives from across the conservative movement, the discussion will explore how we can reconcile environmental responsibility with energy security, economic growth, and the preservation of the landscapes and traditions that shape our communities.
